Matt Waite is a reporter at the St. Pete Times in Florida, and he’s a big fan of using computer-assisted reporting techniques to get the story. After I made a post about using wikis, he let me know that he spoke about wikis at a recent journalists’ conference in Miami.
You can see all his presentation materials on his Web page, or directly download his tipsheet (PDF, 42 KB) or his Powerpoint (3.7 MB) about wikis.
What made Matt learn to love wikis? This big investigative project about Florida’s wetlands: 30 stories, three years. He explains it in his Powerpoint.
Thanks for participating, Matt!
