I’ve been playing with Squidoo lately — see my lens on Online Journalism, for example. Seems this would be a very handy tool for a lot of educators and trainers. And, like so much Web 2.0 goodness, it’s free!

A brainchild of Seth Godin, an online marketing demigod, Squidoo has not received many accolades. Some pundits have even flat-out said Squidoo won’t work.

Well. Maybe not. But Squidoo offers a very simple way to easily put together a well-ordered single Web page of links, photos, and stuff you like — without worrying for even one second about design or code or software. I think it’s kind of like MySpace, except … not ugly (and clearly, not as social).

Mindy I came across your blog through a Squidoo search on Google. I would like to say that I have only just joined the Squidoo community with more traffic already coming from my Lenses to my website and blog. I personally believe it will always be a “work in progress” in the same way a website and blog is or visitors will loose interest.
